Blower
Avian Blowers are offered in a number of different sizes ranging from 7.5HP to 25HP. The blowers are sized based on the application that it is being used for. It includes piping from grinder discharge to the blower.
Conveyor
Avian offers a wide range of custom built conveyor systems to fit your needs from a standard to heavy duty to a gooseneck system. With the addition of a tunnel type metal detector that is attached to the conveyor, it assists with detecting unwanted metals before entering the machine.
Cyclone
Avian Cyclones are offered to help collect the regrind and store it. With the piping, dust collects housing, socks, Cyclone, dual stage stand. It is set and ready to unload the regrind to your Gaylord.
Dust Collection System
Avian offers a Dust Collection System that helps minimize the dust particles produced by the machines during regrinding. We offer a 90% collection system as well as a 100% collection system.
Metal Separator
Avian Metal Separators can be used on the Pulverizers and on the end of a cyclone. For the Pulverizer the material is fed through the vibro-feeder all the product will pass through the Metal Separator before it enters the Pulverizer. The metal will be separated from the feed preventing possible damage to the Pulverizer. The Metal Separator can also be used on the end of the Cyclone if the metal were to get into the feed and ground up. The separator would sort the metal grind and prevent it from contaminating the plastic re-grind before it is sorted into the Gaylord.
Air Lock Rotating Valve
The Air Lock Rotating Valve is placed at the bottom of the cyclone to ensure that only regrind is loaded into the Gaylord. The small electric motor powered valve works in conjunction with the blower to ensure the separation of regrind and fines.
Zigzag
The primary use of the Zigzag is to separate dust, fine, angel hair, and labels from materials. When there is powder in the regrind material the Zigzag helps separate the material so that it is free of powder contamination during use.
Auger
To help separate water from the regrind before it is loaded into the dryer Avian has an Auger that can help. Constructed from heavy gauge stainless steel the material enters from the discharge of the size reduction machine and travels up and through the paddles to discharge excess water and is then loaded into the dryer for further moisture reduction.
Friction Washer
When the surface of the regrind needs to be washed after coming out of the Wet Granulator the friction washer steps into help. The friction washer is positioned at the bottom of the Wet Granulator discharge area and the regrind feeds into the washer. The washer then sprays the material with water and it passes through a number of paddles to be rinsed thoroughly before it enters the dryer.
Mechanical Dryer
Avian Mechanical Dryers area a solution to take wet regrind and dry it to a 6-8% moisture rate. It is a heavy duty constructed machine with a reinforced high speed rotor and heavy constructed paddles help remove excess water from the regrind.
